How LilBuz works (read this first)
LilBuz AI is an AI-agent build workspace. You describe an idea, our agent designs and builds a working app or website, and you ship it to your own domain or host. Here is how your data actually moves:
- Desktop app is local-first. When you use the LilBuz desktop app, your projects - source code, files, your project database, your saved secrets, and the agent's project memory - are stored on your own computer. They are not uploaded to LilBuz servers just by working.
- The AI agent calls model providers. When you chat with the agent or ask it to build something, your message and the relevant parts of your project (e.g. files the task touches) are sent to our AI model providers to generate the response. This is the main point where project content leaves your machine.
- Your account lives in the cloud. If you sign in (email/password or Google), your account and authentication data are stored in our cloud backend so you can log in and we can operate the service.
- Integrations act on your behalf. When you connect a service (GitHub, Stripe, Supabase, Netlify, Vercel, AWS, Figma), you authorize it and we store the access token encrypted, locally, then use it only to do what you asked.
- Deploying sends your build out. When you deploy, your built site is sent to the host you choose - not kept by us.
- You own and can export everything. Export a project as a ZIP and sync it to your own GitHub at any time. There is no lock-in.
This Privacy Policy explains what LilBuz AI ("LilBuz," "we," "us") collects, why, and what choices you have. LilBuz AI is operated by LilBuz AI, a Wyoming LLC.
1.1 The short version
- The desktop app keeps your projects, code, files, database, and secrets on your own computer.
- We collect the minimum needed to run your account and the service.
- When the AI agent runs, your prompt and relevant project context are sent to AI model providers to generate output.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use your private project code to train AI models.
1.2 Information we collect
a) Information you give us
- Account data: your email, profession, country, and login details (or your Google account identifier if you use Google sign-in).
- Support communications: anything you send us at support@lilbuz.ai or sales@lilbuz.ai.
b) Information created when you use LilBuz
- Prompts & project context you send to the agent (processed by AI model providers - see 1.4).
- Operational/usage data: basic logs needed to run and secure the service (e.g. error logs, request metadata, AI usage/token counts for reliability and cost control).
c) Information that stays on your device (desktop app)
Your source code, project files, project database, saved secrets, and agent memory are stored locally. We do not collect these simply because you created them. They leave your device only when you trigger an action that requires it - chatting with the agent, syncing to GitHub, or deploying.
d) Information from integrations you connect
When you connect GitHub, Stripe, Supabase, Netlify, Vercel, AWS, or Figma, you grant access via that provider. We store the resulting access token encrypted on your device and use it only to perform the actions you request.
1.3 How we use information
We use information to: operate and maintain your account; run the AI agent and build features; provide deployment, database, and integration features you request; secure the service and prevent abuse; respond to support requests; and comply with law.
1.4 AI processing and subprocessors
To generate code and responses, your prompt and relevant project context are sent to third-party providers acting as our subprocessors:
- AI model provider - Anthropic (Claude models) for generating the agent's responses and code.
- Embedding & vector-search providers when features like project memory/search are used - embeddings may be generated (e.g. OpenAI, Cohere, Voyage, or Qwen depending on configuration) and stored/queried in a vector database (Pinecone).
- Cloud backend - Supabase for account, authentication, and service data.
- Services you connect yourself - GitHub, Stripe, Supabase, Netlify, Vercel, AWS, Figma - act as independent providers under their own terms once you authorize them.
The list above is our current set of subprocessors. We'll keep it up to date and note material changes here.
1.5 What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not publish or share your private projects.
- We do not use your private project content to train our or any third parties' models.
1.6 Data retention
- Account data: kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward, then deleted or anonymized.
- Local project data: controlled entirely by you on your device; delete it any time.
- Logs: we keep very few logs - only what relates to your account and specific tasks - to improve the product experience, and only for as long as needed for reliability, security, and legal purposes.
1.7 Your rights and choices
The only personal data we hold is your account information - such as your email, profession, country, and login details - plus internal tool-call logs. We currently have no way to access or store your project data: your code, files, and project content stay on your own device or in your own GitHub account.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete the account data we hold, and to object to or restrict certain processing (e.g. GDPR for the EU/UK, CCPA/CPRA for California). To exercise any of these, email support@lilbuz.ai and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe and as required by law. Because your project data stays with you, you can delete it directly on your device or in GitHub, and export any project as a ZIP at any time.
1.8 Children
LilBuz is not directed to children. You must be at least 13 years old to use LilBuz (or older where your local law requires, such as 16 in parts of the EU). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age.
1.9 International transfers
Because we and our subprocessors operate in the United States and other regions, your information may be processed outside your country. Where required by law, we rely on appropriate transfer safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for international transfers.
1.10 Changes & contact
We may update this policy and will revise the "Effective date." Material changes will be communicated reasonably. Questions or requests: support@lilbuz.ai, LilBuz AI (Wyoming LLC).
